Cama Beach Harvest Festival

We lit up Island County with a square dance at the Cama Beach Harvest Festival, with Tony Mates calling. The Cama Beach State Park is the newest in the Washington Parks system, and it's great -- little cabins by the water, a sweet central hall with dining, a big fireplace, and lots of room to dance.

Many of us stayed over for the night, cooking up mussels, clams, and pasta, singing songs and playing tunes. The power cut out due to a windstorm, which just meant we carried on by flashlight for a bit longer. LIfe on the road!
